The Ph.D. in Manipuri is a specialized research programme under the School of Arts & Humanities. It is designed for scholars to engage in high-level original research that preserves and advances the understanding of Manipuri language, literature, and cultural evolution.

- Caution Money (Refundable): 10000.00
B.) Admission Fee per Semester
- 1st Installment (1st Sem): Rs. 4800/-
- Subsequent Installments: As per University Norms

- Manuscript Archive: Access to rare Manipuri manuscripts and digital puyas for research.
- Cultural Documentation: Support for field research and documentation of Manipuri folklore inside or outside Manipur.

Eligibility & Duration
- Eligibility: MA in Manipuri or equivalent PG degree
- Duration: 3-5 Years
